Superb rare sculpture from the ART DECO era: "WOMAN WITH ARMS RAISED" - signed: CIPRIANI - subject in art cast iron (a variety of high-quality pewter) with an antique green patina highlighted with bronze - on an oblong base made of solid Belgian marble (black). One is immediately charmed by this delightful young woman with a sublime smiling face, embodying very typical ART DECO beauty - with her boyish haircut, hair blowing in the wind, a slender body with ideal proportions, elegantly dressed in a slit dress where the play of transparency reveals a beautiful sensuality, arms raised to the sky, in a magnificent flourishing, very choreographic.
