Thank you for reading carefully. Dimensions: 60 x 73 cm. Very beautiful oil on panel. Depicting a seated female nude - Nude woman sitting on a chair.

Signed at the bottom right Thérèse Barthelemy Rouyer (active in the early 20th century). Painter and Watercolorist born in Bar le Duc, she was a student of Mlles Stella-Samson and Zabeth and then of Victor PROUVÉ at the Beaux Arts in Nancy.

She belonged to the Union of Women Painters and Sculptors. She exhibited at the Salon de Paris: Le coin de table in 1934 and La chèvre blanche in 1936. Origin: FRANCE - Nancy school (Lorraine). The style is reminiscent of André Lothe. Very beautiful realization and technique. Supplier label on the back: Panel Van Eyck - wood fibers. Artist's name reminder on the back of the panel. Note: traces of handling and wear.
