Laszlo Barta is a painter of Hungarian origin who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest from 1926 to 1933. Their house will be an important artistic meeting place. After marrying a woman from Toulon, they will settle in Saint Tropez, where this large painting is realized.
