A pupil of his father and paul albert laurens, he exhibited at the Salon of French artists in 1913 and received a silver medal there in 1925. He was the first Béarnais to win the first grand prix of Rome in 1924 and later became a member of the Society of French Artists. Some of his frescoes decorate the dining room of the villa Saint Basil's in pau.
