Good overall condition, some freckles. Frame - some wear, but no glass. Jean Albert Grand-Carteret was a French painter born on June 14, 1903 in Paris 8th arrondissement and died on June 11, 1943 (or 1954) in Maisons-Laffitte. He was the grandson of John Grand-Carteret.

A painter of nudes, portraits, and especially remarkable pastelist, Grand-Carteret was a student of Adler and Lucien Simon.
