Marcel Gromaire Beautiful Naked Woman Standing Original Gravure, 1952 + Certificate
It is recognized early by galleries and museums: stone matisse exposes it to the inauguration of its New York gallery in 1931. From 1947 to 1956, he exhibited at the paris square louis gallery. In 1963 a retrospective was devoted to the National Museum of Modern Art and then in 1980 to the Museum of Modern Art in the city of Paris. The doctor girardin, who regularly buys canvases from him, bequeaths his collection, about a hundred works, to the modern art museum of the city of Paris. Gromaire painted a little over seven hundred paintings, with an average of ten a year.
